Meeting August 26, 2006
It's
time for the group to get together and ride !!! Here's the plan...
Please join us for
breakfast at Café del Sol in Lakewood at 8:00 a.m. The
address is 608 Garrison St. (6th Ave & Garrison on
the NE corner – there is a Garrison street exit from 6th
Ave.)
After breakfast, there
will be a ride to Estes Park via Hwy 6 and the Peak to Peak
highway. We are leaving the return route flexible at this
point. Maybe Devils Gulch and Big Thompson Canyon, or Hwy 36
and Hwy 93 or even back over the Peak to Peak and down Coal
Creek of Golden Gate Canyon. Once in Estes Park, we can look
at the weather and decide which way to head back.
How does a tour of the
Stanley Hotel sound? Tours are $10 per person and last about
one hour. We must make reservations. Let us know if you are
interested in this option and we will put together more
information.
